Overnewton Castle has been providing the perfect backdrop for many of Melbourne’s Weddings over the last 40yrs.

The reception

This is a special part of your wedding day as it is your first meal together as husband and wife, and in the presence of your families and friends.

Overnewton Castle has an elegant dining room with Bay windows overlooking the picturesque gardens which are floodlit at night, a beautiful central chandelier and lovely soft cream furnishings.

Our elaborate sitting rooms are perfect for pre dinner drinks and canapes or you are welcome to entertain your guests outside in the gardens, before moving into the dining room via the sitting rooms. These rooms can also used for your wishing well, guests book or presents.
