Overnewton Castle offers unique accommodation in Melbourne’s North, with almost 170 years of history dating back to the Gold Rush providing a rich and fascinating insight into a bygone, colonial era. Our picture -grounds feature classic Victorian Tudor architecture juxtaposed against Australia’s gorgeous scenic backdrops to create an unforgettable location. In addition to the Castle, which began as a single storey colonial homestead before original owner and builder William Taylor extended the premises, one of the highlights of the grounds is The Stables, a comfortable accommodation that mixes the history of the location with the modern-day comforts you’ve come to expect.
The Stables is the perfect unique accommodation for families or groups of friends looking for a luxurious weekend away while still staying in the metropolitan area.
